Creating Stories That Shines People's Path

P.A.WORKS shows are created with a mindset to leave a lasting impression to people and that can encourage people to look forward to tomorrow. Thanks to the viewers, we get comments such as "It cheered me up," "It changed my life," and we are flattered by these comments. This is a great power that a show can retain. We would like to keep on making shows that people can dream about a positive future story of themselves. We hope to make our shows not just a consumable entertainment but a show that becomes precious to the viewer and shed light to their path ahead.
In the final episode of SHIROBAKO, which has been released in 2015, production management's Aoi Miyazaki makes a speech. In her speech, we included things that P.A.WORKS aim to establish in animation creation. "A century ago, the god of creation light fire on a candle of animation, since then from out predecessors to us, the fire has been passed on. From a 50 year veteran artist to a newcomer, the skill has been succeeded, talented individuals putting in the best of what they have, our candle is still burning bright. Let's keep on creating a long candle so that this light does not die down. Let's produce these candle core with big dreams and passion. Let these stories we create with our cultivated skills and passion be the light to guide path to all people involved in animation, and all people around the world.
